CAD Frame Upload Tutorial
1.Frame List
Frames are classified by customization module. Go to the admin workbench-CAD management. Click New Frame to upload a frame DWG file.
Applied for: Interior Decoration Drawings, Cabinet Drawings, System Cabinet Drawings, Vanity Drawings.

1.1.CAD Frame Upload

Corresponds to these categories on JEGA AiHouse(Layout and Annotation module).

1.2.Frame Design
The Frame Design interface will automatically pop up after a frame is uploaded and saved successfully.
Clicking the Frame Design button in the frame list also enters this interface.
After adjusting the drawing area and saving, the current drawing position coordinates and position will be recorded. When exporting drawings from Layout and Annotation, the drawing will be displayed within this designated area.

2.System Element Management
System element management essentially allows users to upload their own cover pages and design notes. The uploaded DWG files also require block creation in CAD for the cover pages and design notes, following the exact same logic and procedure as for frame blocks.

3.Permission Management
Under the More -Select Department in the operation column for Frames and Blocks, Select Department to choose departments. If a specific department is selected for a frame or cover page, that item will only be effective for accounts belonging to that department.

4.1.Key Notes for Frame DWG Files
(1)The length dimension of the frame should not exceed 1000 units. Exceeding this may cause issues when exporting to PDF and PNG formats (due to excessively high resolution/pixel count making page capture difficult).
(2)The frame must contain exactly one block. Import will fail if this condition is not met.
(3)The base point for the frame’s block must be placed inside the frame block. Otherwise, there will be no valid location to set the drawing area.
Method for Creating the Frame Block:
Select all elements of the frame block.Enter the EXPLODE command to break down any existing blocks:

Select all elements of the title block again.Enter the WBLOCK (Write Block) command to create a new block.Choose a base point inside the frame block.Save the file.
